CAR: Travelling north from Auckland City, cross the Auckland harbour bridge and take the Esmonde Rd/Devonport exit. At the end of Esmonde Road, turn right into Lake Road. Follow the signs down Lake Road to Devonport, and at the very end turn right at the roundabout into Victoria Road. The Esplanade is at the foot of Victoria Road, opposite the ferry terminal.PRE-ARRANGED PERSONAL PICKUP: Avoid waiting at the airport with a pre-arranged personal pickup, where you will be driven to the door in the comfort of a luxury car. The driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with your name on a nameboard. The price for this service is $105 incl GST. Please contact The Esplanade Hotel directly to arrange this.AIRPORT SHUTTLES are taxi vans with luggage trailers located outside the domestic and international airport terminals. An airport shuttle will take you to The Esplanade Hotel?s door for approximately $40 for one person, and $5 for the second person. Prices may vary.A TAXI from the airport will cost about $100, and takes about 40 minutes depending on the time of day.THE AIRBUS leave Auckland domestic and international terminals every 20 minutes from 6am, and the journey to Auckland city takes 60 minutes.
