We are 4 Star Qualmark rated and also national finalists in the 2008 "Spirit of Hospitality" award. We have 2 Double and 1 twin room, all with ensuites. The outstanding views over Tairua Harbour and the Coromandel Ranges will "blow you away". All our rooms open onto decks where you can relax and enjoy. All the rooms are also adjacent to the delightful spa pool which is sheltered for all weather use. How to get to Killyrudden Homestay

Most guests use self-drive vehicles.If driving from Auckland, follow SH1 south to Pokeno. Then take SH2 to the start of SH25. Follow this to Kopu and turn right briefly before taking SH25A to rejoin SH25 over the hill at Hikuai. Follow SH25 north to Tairua. Signs to Killyrudden start at the main intersection in town.

Extra Guest / Children

An extra guest can be accommodated in Rooms 2 or 3 for $90 p.n.
Children 3 - 13yrs are $70 but also only in Rooms 2 and 3.

Out and About

Tairua is a central position to tour the Coromandel Region.(e.g Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Driving Creek Railway, Karangahake Windows Walk and the Martha Gold Mine Pit are just some)
We are blessed with golden sand beaches, both ocean surf and safe harbour swimming. All manner of water activities from fishing and diving trips to ocean kayaking are available and Tairua is central to many outstanding walks and tramping routes.
