After you drive over some railway tracks turn right at the Puna Rere Drive traffic lights (sign posted Tikipunga/Tutukaka Coast). Continue driving straight ahead for 2 minutes, going straight ahead through 2 roundabouts. Lupton Lodge is 6km after the 2nd roundabout (2.5km after Huanui Orchards). If you reach Pukepoto Orchards you have gone about 200m too far.From Whangarei Town Basin (approx. 12 mins):Follow Hatea Drive (adjacent to the Town Basin parking area) North keeping the river on your right-hand side (sign-posted towards Tutukaka Coast). Go up the hill then turn right at the first set of traffic lights. Turn right at the first roundabout. (about a 10 minute drive) Turn right at a major set of traffic lights, after crossing the main bridge by the Town Basin. Follow that road (Hatea Drive). Turn right at the first set of traffic lights.
