DRIVING
Take SH 1 Motorway to Whangarei from AucklandContinue through Whangerei following the route marked for Cape ReingaTurn Left into Kawakawa passing straight through and then through MorewaFollow the signs to Kerikeri, Doubtless BayIn approx 5 km turn right off this road onto SH 10 at the Kerikeri, Doubtless Bay, Cape Reinga signPass through the circle that leads to Kerikeri and continue north on SH10Waipapa village is about 5 mins from the circle and you will see the Carters, Warehouse centre on your left and BP Garage, takeaway shops on your right as you pass throughAfter passing the small shops , the 1st main rd on your LHS is Pungaere Rd has a palm nursery on the corner, turn left into Pungaere Rd500m down just before the bend in the road on the RHS there is a sign for ORCHID GROVE COUNTRY LODGE, Turn onto the dirt roadDirt road all the way down into the forest, ignore first fork in road and go straight ahead up the hillAt the top of the rise at the Orchid Grove sign take the right fork all the way down to the entrance
FLYING
Take the regional airline flight from Auckland domestic terminal to Bay of Islands.Arrange for us to collect you or collect a rental car. Turn left out of the airport gate. * For a more leisurely day take the ferry to picturesque Russell, the first capital of NZ
* Waitangi treaty grounds are 10 mins away and within 25 mins you could be walking among the Giant Kauri trees on a guided day or night walk through Puketi Forest.
* Other attractions include Golf courses, Maori cultural atttractions and adventure sports.
