Our rooms were completely refurbished early 2009 to modern, clean & comfortable self contained units. All units are 1-bedroom units that sleep a max. of 4 adults. Large, flat parking suitable for trucks or trailors onsite. 5 min walk to restaurants, mall with supermarket. Spacious Ashbury park is across the road, accessing maori park pool, tennis courts and Caroline Bay, with its attractions. Coastal walks adjacent to the park are all close by for only a short walk to the beach. Resident hosts, Joan and Lex Stanley are known for their warm hospitality and will welcome you accordingly.
How to get to Ashbury Park Motel
Our motel is the first motel you find entering Timaru from the north (i.e. from Christchurch, 2 hours drive). We are 15mins from Timaru airport, 5 mins drive from Timaru city centre where the main bus depot and railway are.Check In time : 12.00 Check Out time : 10.00am

We have a high speed wireless broadband internet connection which is free for our guests. We will issue you with a pass code to access the connection on your laptop. If there is a requirement to print, we have a printer. Of course landline services with IDD capability are available. We have a fax machine available too.We also have a charge back facility available for our guests to use at selected local restaurants.
Public transport - there is a bus service within walking distance from the motel and Timarus train station is a 5 min drive away.
