How to get to BASE Christchurch Hostel
Airport: Option 1; Catch the bus from the front of the international terminal and for $7 they will drop you off opposite the Holy Grail pub on the edge of the square. This service runs from 6am to 11pm. From there walk towards the Cathedral following the tram lines around the square till you see a grand old building nestled away on your left between the Camelot Hotel and the Warners HotelOption 2; Grab a shuttle who will take you right to our front door. They are available 24 hours and costs run from approx $18 per personOption 3; Taxi, Cost is approx $35- $50 depending on trafficBus Station; If you have come off the Intercity head towards the Cathedral following the tram lines down past Warners, we are right around the next corner.If you get off at the city bus depot head down Colombo St towards the Square (1 block away). Continue past the front door of the Cathedral and hang a right when you hit the Tram lines and you will see the grand old building nestled away between the Camelot Hotel and the Novotel HotelTrain Station: We are quite close to the Train station but it would pay to use a Taxi (approx $15) or grab a shuttle, approx $10Check In time : 1.00pm Check Out time : 10.00am
