How to get to Clearview Lodge

Directions: Clearview Lodge is just 15 minutes from the heart of Christchurch and is located at the entrance to Clearwater championship golf resot, less than 10 minutes from Christchurch International Airport.From the north, follow SH 1 right into Johns Rd. Turn right into Clearwater Ave. After 50m turn right into the Clearview Lodge entrance.From the airport, take Russley Rd/Johns Rd (SH 1) for 6km, turn left into Clearwater Ave. After 50m turn right into the Clearview Lodge entrance.

Wifi, Laptop and printer in guest lounge,Fax and photo-copier available. 50 inch TV in Guest lounge is compatible laptops for Powerpoint presentations. Dining room is available for business or Board meetings. Ideal for facilitators or Guest speakers for conferences held at Peppers Hotel at Clearwater Resort. Our resident consultant Economist may make your breakfast and give an economic update too.

Extra Guest / Children

Families are welcome. We have 1 roll away bed and 1 cot/ highchair and all our beds can be twin bed. We recommend families book the Pinot and Frantoio rooms which are both our upstairs rooms. The hall door can be closed so you have the wing to yourselves. We can only have a Maximum of 3 people(adult, child or baby per room)Please contact us for a family booking as the cot or rollaway may already be in use.We have balls, toys and Games and the pool and spa and lots of space for children * All extra Guest Bedding charges are payable directly to the property upon arrival.*

Out and About

Clearview Lodge is a convenient base from which to explore the surrounding rural countryside and the natural attractions and activities of the Canterbury region. After spending a day in the countryside visitors are able to enjoy international nightlife back in Christchurch City. The shopping is superb and the restaurants are a celebration of fresh, natural local foods and fine cuisine. Known internationally for its award winning gardens, Christchurch is also a place for events and festivals. Whatever the season, youll find a non-stop programme of entertainment with events like the Festival of Romance, the International Buskers Festival, Winter Carnival, and Showtime Canterbury in November. We are 40 minutes from the wineries of Waipara Valley, 90 minutes from Hanmer Springs, 2 1/2 hours south of Kaikoura and Whale watching, 90 minutes from the French settlement of Akaroa for a harbour cruise or Dolphin swim but only 15 minutes from Christchurch City and Christchurch International Airport and the International Antarctic centre.To see Kiwi birds 3minute drive or 10 minute walk to Willowbank Wildlife reserve and also Ko Tane Maori Cultural experience.

Car Parking:

Plenty of off-steet secure parking available (10 sealed and 50 among the olive grove) and our beautiful gates are locked after dark. Guests receive a gate code and gates may be closed during the day if all inhouse guests prefer.We can fit a campervan in parking area. This is for inhouse guests who may be travelling this way and who just want a night of space and luxury and a soak in a lovely candlelit bubblebath. Garaging may be arranged for Motorcycles, convertibles and classic cars.

Instructions for after hours key collection

We greet and farewell all our guests, even those on Australian flights arriving after midnight and those checking out at 4am for 6am flights. Please press the call button at the gate and drive in and we will meet you at the front door. We will show you around and discuss breakfast.
